WHAT IS A TARGET MARKET?

A target market is identifying and reaching only those consumers who will likely buy your product. In marketing speak it's called a Buyers Persona. For example, if you are a veterinarian, instead of sending a saturation mailing to an entire zip code, you want to reach only the people who have animals.  Or if you are a summer camp, you want to reach households with children, ages 5 - 10.

FINDING NEW CUSTOMERS IN YOUR LOCAL MARKET

The first thing to do is write down everything you know about your top 3 customers.  The basics like gender, age, household income level.  Are they married and have children?  What kind of car do they drive, what sports do they like?  Do they own or rent their home? How long have they lived here? Do they love dogs or like to travel? If you don't know, ask!  The more details we have the better we can target your perfect customer, aka your Buyer Persona.  They are already near by, but just haven't found you yet.  And don't worry - we can match up your current customer list with the new people we have found so your not paying for someone that has already walked through your doors.

OVER 4000 FILTERS TO CHOOSE FROM

It is the age that we live in.  Every time you check that box that says "I agree to the Term & Conditions" you are saying - go ahead, collect my data.  And they are.  While it is not something we like as a consumer,  as a business owner or marketing pro, you have an unfair advantage over your competition when using these targeting filters.  Above and beyond the typical income, age, size of household and political party, you can target Your Perfect Customer with our data sources. And we have many!

Some examples of who we can find:
Consumers known to be Starbucks Enthusiasts for a local coffee shop
Active licensed cosmetologists for salon owners to connect with new stylists
Republicans who are known to donate to political candidates
Consumers data (home address) who own a business (good for B2B Facebook campaigns)
Empty Nesters who are likely to retire in the next year
People likely to be buying a home in the next year
Purple People Eaters ‐ really ‐ we can find just about anybody!

DATA APPEND

When targeting your perfect clients, direct mail might not be the only way you want to reach these folks.  Often the data compiliers have email and cell phone numbers available too.  (Be sure to follow all of the CAN SPAM and DNC (Do Not Call) regulations!)  Have a cusotmer list with lots of holes in it?  We can also fill in the blanks by appending your data with home & cell numbers, email, home address, and busines address.
